Jackson J. Glaze, age 55, of McMinn County near Sweetwater passed away Wednesday.

A native of Sweetwater and resident of McMinn County all of his life, he was a member of Union-McMinn Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and was a 35 year employee of Cleveland Manufacturing Company. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Dean Glaze.  Survivors: Wife, Cindy Runyon Glaze of Sweetwater, TN.  Mother, Sarah Frances Burks Glaze of Sweetwater, TN.  Daughters & two sons-in-law: Jennifer Michelle Glaze, Sondra Jaye & Scott White, Sarah Beth & Timmy Millerall of Sweetwater, TN.  Mother-in-law: Roberta Runyon of Sweetwater, TN.  Sisters & brothers-in-law: Brenda "Peanut" & Paul Ronald Lingerfelt.  Rita & Jerry Richesinall of Sweetwater, TN.  Brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Ronnie & Missy Runyon of Maryville, TN.  Sister-in-law: Tamela Runyon Sheppard.  Grandchildren: Benjamin Dakota White, Thomas Carson White, Samuel Jarod White, and Brittany Jaye Miller.  Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 4:00 P.M. Saturday at Union-McMcMinn Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Alexander, Bryan Coffey,  and Jodie Moser officiating.

Interment will follow in Union-McMinn Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Howie White and Deacons of Union-McMinn Baptist Church, Gerald Wilson, Don Reed, Marshall Moser, Verlin Galyon, and Albert Lee Webb.

Memorial contributions maybe made to the Building Fund of Union-McMinn Baptist Church, P.O.Box 269,  Niota, TN 37826.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 P.M. at Union-McMinn Baptist Church.
