HAZEL LOU "MAMAW HAZEL"  WADE, age 80 of Niota, Tenn. died Wednesday, March 19, 2008, in Woods Memorial Hospital in Etowah, Tenn.

She was a native of Boise, Idaho and had been a resident of McMinn County, Tenn. for 78 years. She was a daughter of the late Earl and Glapha Edgemon Simpson.

She was a former employee of Ridge Textile, Athens Products and had worked in Athens First Baptist Church nursery for 20 years. She was a member of Clearwater Baptist Church. 

Survivors: Husband, John W. Wade of Niota, Tenn. Three Sons and Daughters-in-law: Jerry D. and Darlene Wade of Athens, Tenn.  Larry and Debbye Wade of Athens, Tenn.  Gary (Duby) and Floried Wade of Athens, Tenn.  Brother and Sister-in-law, Chester and Margaret Simpson of Niota, Tenn.  Six Grandchildren and spouses: Lori and Michael Parente, Victor and Christy Medrano, Scott and Shannon Wade, Chris and Laura Wade, Chris and Renee Wilson, Greg and Brooke Wilson.  Eleven Great Grandchildren.  Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services 8:00 P. M. Friday in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Bryant officiating.

Interment will be 11:00 A. M. Saturday in McMinn Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Grandsons.

The family will recieve friends from 6-8 Friday in Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home.
