Deborah Ann "Debbie" Sanders, 52, of Englewood, died Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at Woods Memorial Hospital.

A native and former resident of Athens, she was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Jeremy Sanders, on Sept. 14, 2006; her father, James Daniel "J.D." Lingerfelt; one brother, Randy Lingerfelt; two sisters, Connie Lingerfelt and Linda L. Hall; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ed and Mary Sanders. She was of the Baptist faith and was a former carrier for The Daily Post-Athenian.

Survivors include her husband, Eddie Sanders of Englewood; one son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Heather Sanders; her mother and stepfather, Deane W. and Harold Cordell of Athens; one sister, Kris Lingerfelt of LaGrange, Ky.; two granddaughters, Hailey Sanders and Lexie Sanders; a special friend, Gladys Lingerfelt Kehrer; and one uncle and family, James D. and Bobbie Wallace of Athens.

There will be no formal visitation or services.
