RAYMOND R.  BALLEW, age 67 of Athens, Tennessee died Friday, June 8, 2007, at his residence.

He was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, Tennessee and a son of the late Jesse Leo and Letress Elanoire Morgan Ballew. He was a former employee of Athens Oil Co., served in the Army National Guard and was an avid golfer. 

He was preceded in death by Five Brothers: Otis, Harlen, Roy, Gene and Dennis "Punkin" Ballew.  Survivors: Daughter: Tiffany Skye Ballew       Athens, Tenn.  Tiffany's half sister who he considered his daughter: Trinity Meagan Massey of Athens, Tenn.  Four Brothers and Sisters-in-law: J. R. and Patricia Ballew of Athens, Tenn.  Sam and Roxanne Ballew of   Athens, Tenn.  Larry and Wanda  Ballew of Cleveland, Tenn.  Max Earl and Rose Ballew of Andersonville, AR.  Sister and Brother-in-law: Joy and Charles "Ed" Snider of Athens, Tenn.  Special Friend: Terry Fritz of Athens, Tenn.  Several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held 8:00 P. M. Thursday in the Chapel with Rev. Steve Ratledge officiating.

The family will recieve friends from 6-8 Thursday.
