KATHERINE RAY MILLER, age 78 of Athens, Tenn. died Saturday, May 26, 2007, in Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, Tenn.

She was born in Woodridge, New York on March 27, 1929 to the late John Walter and Nellie Rachel Manning Ray. She graduated from Jeffersonville Central School then moved to Troy, New York as a telephone operator where she married the late Walter Pratt.  She later married the late Donald Miller who was an employee of Y.M.C.A. of Athens and lived in Athens, Tenn since 1988.

She was a member of McMinn Senior Citizens and was a member of Niota United Methodist Church.   Besides her parents and First and Second Husband she is preceded in death by Sister: Rose Keller of Niota, Tenn.  Brother: John Oscar Ray of Athens, Tenn.  Survivors: Sister and Brother-in-law: Elizabeth "Betty" and Burgess Peters (Owners of Price Rite Trailer Sales) of Riceville, Tenn.  Sister-in-law: Beverly Ray of Athens, Tenn.  Brother-in-law: Wally Kelley of Niota, Tenn.  Niece and Husband: Lori and Ronnie Templeton of Decatur, Tenn.  Several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services 4:00 P. M. Saturday in the Chapel with Rev. Les Rust officiating.

Interment will follow in McMinn Memory Gardens.

The family will recieve friends from 3-4P.M. Saturday.
