BILLY LYNN "BILL"  JOHNSON,  age 62 of Athens, Tennessee died Saturday, June 16, 2007, at his residence.

He was a native of Detroit, Mich., resident of McMinn County, Tenn. for 30 years and a son of the late Hollis Glen and Nellie Mae Maddox Johnson. He was the Manager of Athens Airport and was an avid flyer and farmer. He is a  member of Athens Lions Club having held various offices and a member of Mt. Verd Baptist Church.

Survivors: Wife of 32 years: Barbara "Bobbie" Katherine Loring Johnson of Athens, Tenn.  Brother and Sister-in-law: Robert "Bob: and Sandra "Sandy" Johnson of Athens, Tenn.  Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services 8:00 P. M. Tuesday in the Chapel with Rev. H. N.  Keys, Rev. Dwayne Renfro, Greg Cantrell and Sonya King officiating.

Interment will be 10:00 A. M.  Wednesday in McMinn Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Ray Keck, Dane Goin, Cliff Keck, Wayne Goin, Jim Maddox, Jimmy Johnson, Newell Johnson and Zane Cantrell. Honorary pallbearers will be the Athens Lions Club, Airport Buddies, Garrett King, Zane Cantrell, Mitchell Bohannon, Foster Bohannon and Mack Russell.

The family will recieve friends rom 6-8 Tuesday.
