CHLOIE A. "NUDGE" GOODIN, age 83 of Englewood, Tennessee died Saturday, February 9, 2008, in Woods Memorial Hospital in Etowah, Tennessee.

He was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, Tennessee and a son of the late James Matt and Edna KelsoGoodin. He was a former Mayor of Englewood, Tenn, Recorder and retired as Head of the Water and Sewer Plant in Englewood, Tenn.

He was a member of The Church of God and was a veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard and U. S. Army.

Survivors: Wife of 64 years: Gladys Camper Goodin of Englewood, Tenn.  Son and Daughter-in-law: Tony and Carolyn Goodin of     Englewood, Tenn.  Daughter: Terry Goodin of Gallup, New Mexico.  Five Grandchildren and spouses: Josh and Julie Goodin, Chad and Amy Goodin, Shannon and Mack Beaty, Matt Goodin, Cody and Jessica.  Eight Great Grandchildren.  One Niece.

Funeral services 8:00 P. M. Monday in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Doyle Prince and Minister Mike Williams officiating.

Interment will be 11:00 A. M. Tuesday in Cochran Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Josh Goodin, Chad Goodin, Mack Beaty, Matt Goodin, Cody Goodin and Roger Masingale.

The family will recieve friends in Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home, Athens, Tenn. from 6-8 Monday.
