Carrie Sue Presswood, 65, of Athens, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at her residence.

A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was a daughter of the late Milton and Stella Wade Womac. She was of the Baptist faith, was a former owner of Wade\'s Frame Shop and a former employee of Woods Memorial Hospital. Survivors include her husband, James H. Presswood of Athens; one son and daughter-in-law, Wade and Dana Cornett of Athens; three daughters and one son-in-law, Angela and Rodney Johnson of Florence, S.C., Lori Koontz of Knoxville, and Abbie Presswood of Athens; one sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth \"Tib\" and Steve McNutt of Athens; one brother, Billy Womac of Athens; five grandchildren, Matthew Johnson, Ashley Johnson, Kelsey Cornett, Katelyn Cornett and Addison Cornett; special lifetime friends \"sisters,\" Phyllis Kelsey, Joan Ramsey, Anna Lee Cagle, Sheila Finnell and Donna Oren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at McMinn Memory Gardens with the Rev. Donnie Dalton officiating. Entombment will follow in McMinn Memory Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Matthew Johnson, Rodney Johnson, Bruce Blevins, Jeff Jones, Taylor Jones and Steve McNutt.

The family will receive friends at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
