CLARA MAE "TOOTIE" BUTERBAUGH, age 64 as of July 30th died Saturday, July 28, 2007, in Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, Tenn.
She was a native of Bath, New York, a former resident of Fayette, New York and had been a resident of McMinn County,Tennessee since 1974. She was a daughter of the late Herman John Wheaton and Myrtle Mary Nichols Wheaton Buck and preceded in death by her Step-Father: Archie "Pat" Hamilton Buck, Brothers: Frank William Wheaton and Stacey Wheaton, Sisters: Audrey Potterand Ameila Clark, sister-in-law: Sharon Buterbaugh, Brothers-in-law: George Liggett, Lester Brown and Father-in-law: Harry Eugene Buterbaugh, Sr.
She was a certified Nurses aide for many years and a member of West End Baptist Church.
Survivors: Husband of 39 years: Harry Eugene Buterbaugh, Jr. of Athens, Tenn.
Daughter and Son-in-law: Rita and Mark Jones of Decatur, Tenn.
Three Brothers and Four Sisters-in-law: Herman and Mary Wheaton of Geneva, New York. Douglas and Helen Weaton Sr. of Niota, Tenn. Larry and Linda Wheaton of Riceville, Tenn. Diana Wheaton of Athens, Tenn.
Three Sisters and Brothers-in-law: Dolly and Tom Travis of Waterloo, New York. Rita and Gary Mosher of Decatur, Tenn. Linda and Tom Foster of Phelps, New York.
Four Grandchildren, Seven Great Grandchildren & a very special beloved Niece: Nicole Roberts.

Funeral services 2:00 P. M. Wednesday in West End Baptist Church with Rev. Herman Jordan and Rev. Jimmy Price officiating. Interment follow in McMinn Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Glynn Shultz, Adam Jones, Mark Jones, Jr., Luke Jones, AndyStephens, Darrel Monroe, Heath Ezell and Franklin Ezell. The body will lie-in-state at the church from 1-2 Wednesday.
The family will recieve friends from 5-9 Tuesday.
