C A LETNER, age 81 of Athens, Tenn. died Monday, February 11, 2008, in Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, Tenn.

A native and former resident of Meigs county and resident of Athens since 1998, he was a son of the late Dale and Maude Elleson Letner.

He was a member of North Athens Baptist Church, worked construction for TVA and was an avid fisherman.

Survivors: Wife: Glenda Foster Winder Letner of Athens, TN.  Son: Mark Letner of Decatur, TN.  Daughter: Loretta Letner of Athens, TN.  Step-son: Tony Chrisman of Decatur, TN.  Step-daughters: Vanessa Darity of Athens, GA.  Pam Degree of Athens, TN.  Tammy Andrews of Dayton, TN.  Mrs. Letner's two Sons and spouses: Joe Russell and Terri Winder of Kannapolis, N.C.  James Edward and Robyn Winder of Hanover, MD.  Brothers: James Letner of Athens, TN.  Fletcher Letner of Decatur, TN.  Vaughn Letner of Ten Mile, TN.  Ten Grandchildren and Seven Greatgrandchildren.  Several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services will be 12:00 P.M. Thursday February 14, 2008 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Dr. Bob Kerr officiating. 

Interment will follow in McMinn Memory Gardens.  Pallbearers will be Tony Letner, Ricky Letner, Brian Letner, EdMiller, Carlin Farmer, Billy Bales. 

The Family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. at Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home in Athens, TN.
