Annie Kay Lively Haney, 77, of Athens, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, at Etowah Health Care Center.

She was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, and was a daughter of the late Osko and Arcie Womac Lively. She was retired from Jiffy and was a member of West End Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one sister, Lucille Hicks; and one grandson, Eric Benson.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Debbie Haney of Athens; two daughters, Earlann McDonald of Elicott City, Md., and Ebra Benson of Athens; one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Jackie Lively of Tallahassee, Fla.; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty and L.A. Helms of Athens; five grandchildren and spouses, Luke and Camille Benson, Bryan and Laura McDonald, Jenny and Chris Partain and Amanda and Randy Liner; five great-grandchildren, Bailey and Jaret Liner, Benson and Alice Partain and Wyatt Benson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Lewis officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Luke Benson, Randy Liner, Chris Partain and L.A. Helms.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
