Lock Junior Vincent, 72, of Riceville, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at his residence.

A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was a son of the late Locke Miller Vincent and Alice Ann Miller Vincent. He was a builder and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Cleveland First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Maureen Creeley Vincent of Riceville; one son, Michael E. Vincent of Riceville; two daughters and one son-in-law, Christal and Jarrett Pistole of Liberty, and Sharon Vincent of Athens; one stepson and his wife, Scott and Eva Gay of Etowah; one stepdaughter and her husband, Kelli and Kelvin Jamerson of Etowah; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be noon Friday in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
