Hazel E. Conar, 90, of Cleveland, and formerly of Niota, died Sunday, May 6, 2012, at Bradley Rehab.

A native of Monroe County, and a resident of Niota for most of her life, she was a daughter of the late Joe and Julia Strickland Queen, and was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Franklin Conar, on March 7, 1990. She was a member of East Niota Baptist Church and attended Maple Street Baptist Church in Cleveland.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Joseph F. "Joe" Conar and his wife, Frankie, and Robert L. "Bob" Conar, both of Cleveland; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at McMinn Memory Gardens with the Rev. Jim Cawood and Wayne Finnell officiating.

The family will receive friends from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
