WILLIAM JACOB GOWIN, age 26 of Athens, Tenn. died Saturday, April 21, 2012, in Athens, Tenn.

He was a native of Bradley County, Tenn., longtime resident of McMinn County, Tenn. and preceded in death by his Father: Wilks Michael Gowin.

He was a member of McMahan Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include: Mother and Step-father: Kathy Kyker and David William Cawlfield of Athens, Tenn., Brother: Wilks Noah Gowin of Athens, Tenn., Grandparents: Martha and Chuck Gowin of Englewood, Tenn., Francis and Richard Kyker of Athens, Tenn. several aunts and uncles.

Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Black will be officiating.

The family will recieve friends from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. Tuesday in the funeral home.
