Cynthia Denise Bailey Ferguson, age 56 of Athens, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

A native of Brooklyn, NY and resident of McMinn County since 1992, she was a daughter of the late Delores Bailey.

She was a member of St. Mark A.M.E. Zion Church, former member of Eastern Star and former employee of Proffitt's Dept. Store.

Survivors include her Father, Earvin Coleman, Sr.; sons and daughter-in-law, Maurice and Megan Ferguson, Lee Ferguson and Jamal Ferguson all of Athens; daughter, Rochelle Bailey of Athens; brother, Earvin Coleman, Jr. of Victorville, CA; sisters and brother-in-law, Lisa and Tyrone Murray of San Antonio, TX; Patricia and Leona both of Hampton, VA; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Brayden, Ethan and True; Several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be 6:00 PM Monday, April 16, 2012 at St. Mark A.M.E. Zion Church with the Rev. Herman Poindexter officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM Monday prior to the service at the church.
