Jennie Sue Green, 55, of Niota, died Friday, March 30, 2012, at her residence.
A native of Ft. Myers, Fla., she was a daughter of the late Joanne G. Cross and was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Wayne Cross; and her father-in-law, William W. Green.
She was a former employee of Ft. Myers News Press for 36 years.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Thomas William Green of Niota; two sons, Jason Thomas Green and his girlfriend, Alyssa Dunbar, and Clinton Wayne Green and his girlfriend, Natalie Barnes, all of Ft. Myers, Fla.; her father, James Cross Sr. of Blairsville, Ga.; her mother-in-law, Shirley Green of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James M. Jr. and Susan Cross of Ft. Myers, Fla., and Robert Hampton and Sharon Cross of Fayetteville, Ga.; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda Lou and James Cartright Jr. of Blairsville, Ga.; two sisters-in-law and their husbands, Rebecca and Dominic Buda of Chappell, Neb., and Rhonda and Wayne Carmichael of Jacksonville, Fla.; two grandchildren, Gavin Michael Green and Alexia Russell; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rockview Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Cassady officiating. Burial will follow in Foster Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Chad Cross, Corey Cross, James Cartright, Jarrett Dennison, Raymond Dennison, Jay Mudge and Jason Cross.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
